What is the best way to wash a new car - hand wash or drive thru wash?

I would choose the best of both worlds---drive thru wash with hand dry. What is the best way to wash a new car - hand wash or drive thru wash?
New car paint is soft, hand wash only! Most car washes, of all types, recycle their water; so even w/o brushes dirt can be blasted into the finish. What is the best way to wash a new car - hand wash or drive thru wash?
You'll get angry if that car wash messes up your new car! Maybe hand wash or a self service car wash which has bays you drive into and you use a high pressure wand to wash and rinse the car while you do a little hand washing. They have the vacuum cleaner there too. Watch this online Advance Auto video ';Wash And Wax'; on washing your car:

I gotta say I prefer the car-wash. Not an automatic car wash, but the ones you drive up and use the the devices yourself.

Get the foaming brush and scrub the crap out of it. Then use the rinse and spot-free rinse.

I always get great results. Sometimes it misses hard-stuck-on stuff. I'll usually use a sponge at home to scrub it off.

Some car washes offer an engine degreaser also- that stuff is amazing!
look for a carwash that offeres foam cleaning
Hand wash.
