Do you hand wash your own car or take it to a car wash?

hand wash when it's warm, car wash when it's not.Do you hand wash your own car or take it to a car wash?
Hand wash. The car washes are never thorough enough to get the dirt off every nook and cranny. Also, the brushes they use in the car washes may sometimes leave swirl marks on your car's finish. Also, for the price of a car wash, you could buy yourself all the supplies you need to hand wash your car for 2-3 months...minus the water. If you have access to a driveway and a hose, I'd save the money and wash it myself...especially with the weather getting warmer too. Of course, it will require some elbow grease on your part but doesn't it look that much shinier when you've cleaned it yourself?Do you hand wash your own car or take it to a car wash?
I run it through the Car Wash after work, $4 economy style then take it home buff it and hand wash it.

I'm wacky like that. Don't cheap out on the soap you buy Turtle Wax brand is good and Makes a huge difference over by cheap soap. Ya just like dishes and clothes.
car wash in the winter, hand wash in the summer (it's cheaper :) ) and hand washing is better for your car.
both work just fine. hand wash has more detail. if you end up through a car wash make sure it is a touch free wash otherwise your paint is going to get scratches on it.
hand wash.

it is much cheaper!! all you need is a sponge/brush thingymabob and soapy water :)
car wash. it's faster
